If you are a day trader then discount brokers will probably benefit your trading practices. If you are a swing trader then your needs will be different than that of a day trader. You must weigh out the difference before you engage in a discount stock broker since they all do not facilitate multiple trading styles. Always read the fine print and make sure you are getting a discount stock broker that will meet your investment needs.
