Health Insurance Is Not In Jeopardy In U.S. - Sicko Is Wrong
By John Wiley
Not that I m against Michael Moore or one of those “anti-Moore” guys, but he has completely missed the facts in this movie. He focused on the smaller group that has had misfortunes with the medical system here.
I can guarantee you, if you look hard enough in Canada, France, UK, Cuba or any other country, you will find countless stories of people not happy with the medical system there.
I speak personally as a person who s life has been saved by the medical care system in U.S. - last year I fell very ill and was in the hospital for 3 months, 6 weeks of which was ICU.
I received top care at a tertiary care center, my total bill was over $300,000 and I never once had any troubles with my insurance company! They never even so much as peeped about it.
They covered all my medicine, they covered the surgeries, the countless tests and not to mention the $3,000 a night stay in the ICU for 6 weeks.
Are there people without health insurance in US? Yes, unfortunately.
